Help Keep Steam Alive!

Restoring the steam locomotives in the 21st century requires considerable amounts of both labor and money. Our project to "Revive 175," is expected to cost nearly $1,000,000. Thanks to a historic preservation grant from the Federal Highway Administration's Transportation Alternatives program (TAP), SRI is fortunate to have over half of this funding available to us. But we still need to raise over $400,000 in matching funds. Help restore the CNW 175 by donating today!

There are four special donation levels for the Revive 175 campaign. . . or choose an amount of your preference. And if you'd like to pledge a gift and pay over three years (2022 - 2024), we've got you covered for that, too!

• R-1 Club: $175 includes a one-year membership to SRI and an invitation to a private event when the 175's restoration is complete.
• Peninsula Club: $400 includes a one-year membership to SRI and an invitation to a private event when the 175's restoration is complete.
• Escanaba Club: $1,500 includes a one-year membership to SRI and an invitation to a private event when the 175's restoration is complete.
• Copper Country Club: $5,000 includes all the benefits of Escanaba Club, plus one Caboose (private party of 12) on a future North Pole Express excursion.
• Lumber Baron Club: $10,000 includes all the benefits of Copper Country Club, plus a cab ride in the CNW 175 on a future excursion.
